Tuition and Admission


playgroundThe Nursery School is a non-profit organization and all tuition fees are applied to the cost of staff, equipment, supplies, and other operating expenses. If it is necessary to withdraw a child during the school year, parents are asked to give written notice as far in advance as possible, but no later than two weeks prior to withdrawal. Two weeks notice is necessary for the refund of any previously paid tuition. Tuition is due and payable at the beginning of each semester. Each year the Nursery School awards a limited number of scholarships.

 

Tuition

Each semester’s tuition is due and payable in full on or before the 15th day of each semester. If tuition is not paid by such date, the Treasurer shall assess a late payment fee equal to 10 per cent of the unpaid tuition. Tuition payments should be sent to the TREASURER – OR TO THE SCHOOL. If it is necessary to withdraw a child during the school year, parents are asked to give written notice as far in advance as possible, but no later than two weeks prior to withdrawal for the refund of any previously paid tuition.

Fall Semester

Full payment less first month’s deposit is due no later than October 7, 2016 as follows:

  • 2-Day Classes: $1,042.00
  • 3-Day Classes: $1,460.00
  • 5-Day Classes: $2,504.00

Spring Semester

Full payment is due no later than February 15, 2017 as follows:

  • 2-Day Classes: $1,338.00
  • 3-Day Classes: $1,876.00
  • 5-Day Classes: $3,220.00

Scholarship Program

Scholarships are awarded each year according to financial need. More information regarding scholarships may be obtained by contacting the Scholarship Chairman.

Admissions

When the Nursery School has more applicants than available positions, students are admitted based on the following priority system:

  • Returning students whose parents are active members of San Marino Community Church
  • Other students returning from the previous school year
  • Children whose parents are active members of San Marino Community Church
  • Children on the previous year’s waiting list
  • Children whose siblings have attended San Marino Community Church Nursery School
  • Applicants of the community at large

In the event there are more applicants than available positions and the priority system has been exhausted, applicants will be selected on the basis of a random drawing.
